| Hey Team,
Just wanted to let you know that the SU Tennis Club has begun competitive singles and doubles play for the fall. That means that at almost every practice there will be competitive matches, singles or doubles, that will happen. I will match you up or Jenny will with a player you have played against before. The scores will be collected at the end of the practices to determine the ladder or line up for the guys and girls when it comes time to play the matches. This is very important and if there is a show like there was tonight practice, then you may not be on the ladder. Not good. I understand that mid-terms are this coming week, but if you didn't show up for practice tonight, Sunday, then you must be there Tuesday night. Don't want to be a jerk, but I need to push you guys for us to do well. Let me know if you guys disagree with what I am doing and we can accomodate you. For the next match against RPI, on october 30th, please begin signing up on the website. Password is your last name in lowercase letters. YOU MUST SIGN UP AS PLAYING OR NOT. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOURSELF AS UNDECIDED. If you have a car, then select that you can drive. Please do this very soon so that I can form the ladder for the match. T-shirts have been ordered and new tennis balls as said before, and they will be ready to go for the upcoming match. Below are the singles scores for tonights matches followed by a ROUGH ladder setup for the girls and guys who showed up tonight. Thanks again for those who come to practice.
